The current version (1.6) of os9makdir appears to be
able to only create a directory in the one level below its
parent. i.e. foo.dsk,dir1 will work foo.dsk,dir1,dir2 will
not. Would be great to be able create a path several
levels deep. Yes I seem remember the original os9/coco
makdir only would create one level at time.

os9tools package built from code synced down on dec
14 2002 built on winxp usin cygwin/mingw combo.

    Hi Paul,

Great to see you on board, and using the tools!

You're right, multi-level makdir creation doesn't work, but
could be easily added to the os9makdir tool. Your command
    would change slightly, however:

    os9makdir foo:dsk,dir1/dir2

    It wouldn't be:

    os9makdir foo:dsk,dir1,dir2

as your post might suggest, since the comma deliniates the
native portion of the pathlist from the OS-9 portion. The
slash should be used as normal beyond the point where the
    OS-9 pathlist portion starts.

Please keep using the tools and help improve upon them.
