Hi,

I've got one request:

could you add MPEG-I layer II multichannel encoding
support to tooLAME? (so that one can specify 6 wave
files as input, and would get one SVCD complient .MPA
audio file) as output.

All the other MPEG multichannel creation methods out
there are simply to complicated, so far (require
WINDOWS & LINUX; one has to compile the files;...
i.e.: http://www.labdv.com/en/examples/svcd_audio.htm
or
http://www.stud.uni-siegen.de/sven.koelsch/mpeg2mc )
There's simply no simple or single tool that can do
the job, yet ;(

If tooLAME supported this, one could simply extract 6
separate wave files [48kHz] from an AC3 file, i.e.
using AZID, and then use tooLAME to create a 5.1
channel 44.1kHz MPA file, that could be used for a
standard complient SVCD(

df ).

Thanks
