Project Outlook

My available time for working on this project is pretty limited so further development will take a while. Nevertheless I still have a lot of features and optimizations in mind which will or will not be implemented in the future. Some of the things I want to do are listed below. Even if there are no updates for a long period of time I will eventually come back to this project. So do not hesitate to leave some suggestions etc.

• Work on and improve the used tmjs JavaScript Topic Map Engine (see https://github.com/jansc/tmjs) (e.g. implement merging, add support for import/export of XTM formats)
• Add a way for the graphical representation of the topic map
• Create and integrate some templates in order to facilitate the use of the project for users who are not familiar with the topic map concepts.
• Restructure the extension code in a way so that the extension can be ported to the Chrome browser and ultimately make a Chrome port available (This will not happen in the foreseeable future I fear)
