Hi everybody, I'm working currently at the University of Bremen in a group which is working around the topic electron microscopy, in particular (S)TEM. I like to control the microscope (Titan 80-300) via Matlab and Microsoft's COM interface. What I already have is the TEMScripting object got by FEI company which is apparently helpful to control the electron beam and acquiring images via imaging plates. However it pointed out to me, to provide an acquisition with our CCD camera, it's necessary to use the "TecnaiCCD.GatanCamera" COM object which already works out well. Now my point is I saw in the TOM Matlab code you are using additional objects like the "CoreApplicationServer" and the "TecnaiCCD..." object. What I would like to know is where can I get more information about these COM objects? If they were available to the public, could someone leave me a reference or an overview about COM objects? Or are they only available via the FEI sales department? I hope you can help me, because I didn't find any information about these topics inside web, exceptionally in the TOM code. Thank you and best regards, Dennis _____ _____ From: TOM Team [mailto:to...@bi...] To: 'Dennis Zillmann' [mailto:zil...@if...] Sent: Thu, 12 Apr 2012 09:34:16 +0200 Subject: RE: Downloaded TOM Toolbox + question about COM object Hi Dennis, as the person who developed TOM2 is not working in this lab any more I would suggest that you subscribe to his mailing list of TOM2-users: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tom2-users We hope we could help you.
