Dear Tolven Health Record developers, I am Mona Alsaffar health informatics graduate student at University of California-Davis. I am conducting a study about developers involved in healthcare F/OSS projects. I believe this research is an important work to characterize healthcare F/OSS globally. I would like to ask you for help by answering my survey even if you are no longer an active developer. It is an anonymous and voluntary survey of 20 questions, which will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. If you have any question, feel free to contact me or my chair advisor Dr. Mike Hogarth. Your participation is very valuable. Please kindly, check the following link: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1636553/Open-Source-Electronic-Medical-record-software-survey Mona Alsaffar Health Informatics student (720)325-0264 Dr. Mike Hogarth Professor and Vice Chair, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UC-Davis (916)817-9951 http://www.hogarth.org/ |

Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7377265 By: jchurin Bill, JMeter allows you to record a scenario but it will require some manual work to capture returned values that feed into the next step. Why? JMeter knows nothing about Javascript behavior, other than to record the resulting HTTP, so that requires hand work. You'll see examples in the Tolven CVS project tolvenBenchmark. I will warn you now that it is a fairly complex area that we don't usually support through the community. Is there any similar sample script i can refer to? I tried using Badboy, but the generated script seems not nice. Thanks. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=7314576 By: joseph_isaac You must have missed the libraries required for the tolvenXMLEditor project. The are located in tolven/lib/trimeditor-libraries dom3-xercesImpl-2.6.2.jar StrutLayout1.2.1.jar jh.jar thirdparty.jar MRJToolkitStubs.jar xalan-2.4.0.jar I was about to say please take a closer look at the instructions I posted earlier, except that although trimeditor-libraries is mentioned, it is not also mentioned in the vicinity of tolvenXMLEditor :-) I will update it. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5785951 By: joseph_isaac Hi All I've been asked this enough times to know that the ant target name is not obvious :-) When you make a change in the development workspace and want to test that with an install, you run a target in tolven/build.xml called: run-update-plugins-deploy-ear It obviously needs to know where the latest installation directory is, and uses the workspace ant property ${tolvenConfig.location} to figure that out. This points to the tolven-config directory, which remains through installs and upgrades. You can place this property in the workspace file tolven/resources/ant-build.properties as an override to whatever is in ant-build-default.properties (don't edit the latter, since you might check it in by mistake, while the former is in .cvsignore). The target will build all the code in the workspace, then build all the plugins in the workspace. Next it copies all those plugins as library plugins for the latest installation tolven home, found via the tolvenConfig.location property. Finally it tells the configuration manager to resync all of its "selected" plugins to the new library ones, and deploy the ear file to the installation directory application server. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5774516 By: joseph_isaac There is a bug in log4j-1.2.4.jar, which leads to a strange error about the field TRACE. The problem went away by upgrading to log4j-1.2.15.jar. Unfortunately, log4j is used by a number of projects, so when you next sync, you'll have to jump the Eclilpse hoops for library selection. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5633053 By: joseph_isaac The tolven/lib/jboss workspace (cvs) directory has now had all but two jars removed from it. jbossall-client.jar is referenced by tolvenClient project (the reference will not be necessary at some point in the future). The other is jbossws.jar, which due to a JBoss bug is required, since we can't currently replace it with a jbossws deployment descriptor. All Eclipse references to jars in tolven/lib/jboss can now be directed to a new jar tolven/lib/javaee/javaee.jar. There is also a need to refer to hibernate in tolven/lib/hibernate/hibernate-annotations.jar, because we use their annotations. If/when we switch to deployment descriptors for hibernate, then this reference will disappear too. These annotations are only used by tolvenEJB. tolvenClient runtime still requires many of the jars that used to be in tolven/lib/jboss, but the client is now built by directly unzipping the client jars from the zipped version which was always in tolven/lib/jboss/tolven-jboss-4.2.2.GA.zip. Read and respond to this message at: https://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=5619448 By: joseph_isaac Please note that a new project called tovlenLogger has been created to remove the logging functionality out of tolvenSecurityCommon. All projects which depended on tolvenSecurityCommon are more than likely going to depend on tolvenLogger now, or at some time in the future, once logging statements are added to them. So, update your Eclipse workspaces if when you next synch with HEAD. The development documentation indicates the dependencies. If you are using the latest code, then tolvenLogger should appear as a new plugin, once you have synched with HEAD and reinstalled Tolven. You can just select it using the ConfigurationManager's EAR Plugin tab, Assemble & Deploy. After that you can carry on as before. The new official project list will be sent out shortly.
