#2 Hangs on open...

I do like the idea and effort here. But as some of the other users on the "Feedback" section of the main site, why, OH WHY, would you make an open source app that must phone home. You cannot turn off the update checking, and if it can't find the network, then it just hangs forever.

Why do we not have the choice to turn off this connecting? What information to or from our computers is so vital to transmit on EVERY open? Sure there is _probably_ nothing nefarious going on here, but this heavy-handedness sure feels shifty.

Please fix this large bug in this otherwise nifty program. Otherwise, Little Snitch has to tell your application to permanently pipe down and behave like the other nice, non-trojan applications.
