Release 1.2.10 check_eventlog ignores two additional irrelevant events: RPC Event 11 and CEIP event 1008 check_antivirus improved the status detection of AV software. It incorrectly reported a warning for Microsoft Security Essentials. Release 1.2.9 check_blackberry currently does not work with BES 5.0 because RIM removed the performance counters check_services_stopped will now ignore the Google Update service and the software protection service in Windows 2008 R2 Release 1.2.8 check_password_expiration would in some cases fail to recognize a password expiration date. Release 1.2.7 check_eventlog will now suppress an additional false-alarm error related to Windows Search. check_eventlog will now suppress a WSUS-related error that duplicates what check_auto_update reports. check_auto_updates will now report on unassigned computers as well. check_mem no longer alerts based on percentage free but only on absolute numbers. This is due to Exchange's behavior. check_services now also excludes the .NET optimization service. check_password_expiration new plugin. Release 1.2.6 check_logon_errors counted firewall errors as well. It is now back to only counting logon-related errors. New event log check. Release 1.2.5 check_tcp now handles servers that don't produce banners check_blackberry no longer has a default warning or critical level for queue lengths, since that produces false alarms when a user's BB is turned off. New plugin check_dns_server New plugin check_auto_updates to check the update status in a WSUS server - Warning: this plugin uses a lot of CPU power check_antivirus now works on Windows 7. SNMP-based checks: Improved handling of multiple OIDs if the device does not recognize some of them. check_printer is now more flexible and handles more brands. Plugins are now using a DLL architecture, to allow running more than one plugin from the same process and allow various optimizations Plugins now run with lower priority so CPU intensive plugins don't overtax the host Removed misleading average delivery time check in Exchange. Added checking the time it takes for the WSUS queries. This is a proxy for database performance issues. Added check of the number of logon errors. Added check of registry quota utilization. Release 1.2.4 New plugin to check various SMB parameters check_disk_time now uses a different performance counter Release 1.2.3 Bug fix release: check_disk_time failed on Windows 2008. Release 1.2.2 Bug-fix release: check_ad failed to retrieve some results on Windows 2008 because it was case sensitive, and Microsoft has changed the case of the output from the dcdiag.exe tool. Release 1.2.1 This release includes a new plugin to check Microsoft Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 servers. It also adds a blackberry plugin that checks Blackberry Enterprise Servers (tested against version 4.1.6). It should also work to check a Blackberry Professional server. Please note that even though there is a 64-bit version of this plugin, BES itself will currently only run on 32-bit operating systems. Release 1.2.0 This release adds rewrites of all of Mike Conigliaro's NagiosPluginNT plugins. Note that the functionality of the plugins is not always identical to their *nix counterparts. For instance, the check_http plugin does not handle SSL. The code was rewritten to a very large extent to support producing output that adheres to the Nagios plugin developer's guide, including performance data. The check_snmp_if plugin is not fully tested, due to a lack of an appropriate switch for testing.
