Hi Helena, well, I guess we have to appologize that the TMVA version numbers don't really get updated the way they should (now that TMVA is firmly within ROOT, we should actually get rid of the TMVA version number and JUST have the ROOT release number) .. that said, there are unfortunately difference between the TMVA 4.2.0 in ROOT 5.34.14 and the one in root 6.02.. and it's not easy to say 'which'. By comparing the files however I can to tell me that the only difference that is an correction of the treatment of 'interger valued' input variables .. do you have some of those in your data set? Otherwise, could you perhaps compare the 'start' of the weight files, which tell you about the used training parameters.. (although I didn't see any change of default parameters.. maybe it shows something of interest?)
