Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. With many thanks for your participation, Benno Luthiger PS: The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/. We have set up the mailing list fa...@we... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_en.html for registration to this mailing list. _______________________________________________________________________ Benno Luthiger Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich 8092 Zurich Mail: benno.luthiger(at)id.ethz.ch _______________________________________________________________________ |

Feature Requests item #793638, was opened at 2003-08-23 16:18 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=534473&aid=793638&group_id=72423 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Ken Robertson (kenrob) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Hot links in message? Initial Comment: Hello Luca, Any chance of getting hot links in the reminder message? Example, a link to My eBay's URL to prompt me to check imminent auctions. Or a link to a folder (Weekly clean of the Temp folder?) (Without resorting to opening 'C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c:\temp') Currently both left and right click on the underlined msg text displays the options menu, perhaps this could be changed to right click only leaving left click to follow any link? Bugs item #793086, was opened at 2003-08-22 03:37 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=534470&aid=793086&group_id=72423 Category: Interface Group: TMR Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: "Create Task" button wrongly disabled Initial Comment: First, thanks for a great utility. I would donate but PayPal and me had a fight and I refuse to use them anymore. Steps to repeat bug: 1. Go to the main window 2. Note the disabled "Create Task" button as nothing has yet been entered 3. Enter some text in the "Message" field. The "Create Task" button is now enabled. 4. Click the "Task Actions" icon to the left of the "Create Task" button and select "Play a custom sound..." from the menu. 5. Cancel the sound file select dialog. 6. Note that the "Create Task" button is now disabled even though there is now sufficient info to create. It seems that a cancel on the sound select disabled the button regardless of any previous button state. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=534470&aid=793086&group_id=72423 |

I'm Cathy, a enjoyer of Phatsoft TMR. Phatsoft TMR has been much of a help to me. I'm a disorganized person, and I tend to forget things alot. Such as when I have to turn off my computer, and when I need to do stuff. In those times, Phatsoft TMR has reminded me all the things i needed. A very smart program indeed. But, recently, I thought it would be very neat, if the program could have warning messages several minutes before the computer would shut it self down, so I could have time to save things I would be doing at the moment. I would very much like it if you considered this and included this feature.
