As the saying goes: "Release early, release often." Just a few days after 3.0a1 we've prepared 3.0a2 for the masses. Lots more things got done in this release and the program is quite usable now. We're almost up to par with version 2.0 on classic Mac OS, just missing import / export, and those should be done by 3.0a3.
We are proud to present the first alpha release of TMDC WebPad 3.0. This version seems very stable, but it's just lacking in a few features that we would like to see. Everything that is in the program at the moment works, except for preferences. Now is the time to start requesting features to be in this version, as we will only be adding major features in the alpha release cycle.
We are pleased to announce that the next version of TMDC WebPad will be open-source under the GNU General Public License. Previously, the program was freeware, but closed-source.
The new version, dubbed 3.0, is completely rewritten from the ground up using the Cocoa frameworks on Mac OS X, and features new functionality such as grouping links in folders, and much more.
