Okay, last questions before I look into the code: You're using the
TMAPI interfaces exclusively? You're not trying to work with the
native TM4J interfaces and with TMAPI, right?

Do you've the mergeByTopicName feature enabled?

Do you use the static merging feature of TM4J (see
<http://tm4j.org/docs/devguide/ch05s02.html>)?
