Initial Comment:
The "current" browserLauncher.jar distributed with tmnav is from the year 2003 and thus very outdated (and also buggy).

Use a new copy of browserLauncher from http://browserlaunch2.sourceforge.net/ .

It straightly works as a drop-in-replacement on my machine.
