Hi Tim, The scope comparison is just on a set membership basis. i.e. you will only get a positive if there is an overlap between the topics in the scope you are testing against and the topics in the scope you are testing with. The comparison does not take account of class-instance or subclass-superclass relationships. While this is in line with the XTM specification (and the way that scope is used there), I think I can see why you might want to use a class-instance relationship (to say something like "if name is scoped by a language then...") - but to do that I think you will either have to a) Create a myScope that contains all the instances of TopicB b) Write your own test My guess is that in the general case, (b) is preferable to (a).
