#2 Selecting Profile has inconsistent result

I have a single profile which points to my
key-protected access point.

If I go to "profiles" and select it, and click OK, I
get "connected to nothing".

If I go back to "profiles" and select it again, I get
my connection.

This appears to alternate repeatedly and reproducibly.

I am still waiting for a sourceforge confirmation; My
