#126 Support for quick positioning by typing first letter

A feature that would make life much easier with
listboxes with long lists is that it scrolls to the
first or next item which starts with the letter or
character that you typed.

It is a common enough feature in many Windows
applications

I don't see how this should be a standard part of the toolkit,
rather than a feature added by an application, or some helper
library.

I suppose it is fairly easy to add this via an
application-specific script. Any cookbook examples?
