Name:
Michael F. Ellis

CustomShell:
None

ReproducibleScript:
## Put this script in a file.
## Run by double-click in Explorer.
proc hang {} {
set list [exec command /c dir]
}

button .hangme -text "Click to hang" -command hang
pack .hangme

ObservedBehavior:
Hangs when button is pushed. Requires CTRL-ALT-DEL to kill process.
Can get same result by typing "dir" in wish Console.
No problem in tclsh.

Apologies if this is a well-known problem, but a web search on "Tk win98
dir" turned up no problem reports.

Fixed in 8.2b1 (formerly 8.1.2)
