#284 Via the selection mechanism I can not select a part of cell
Hello!
As I understood, tktable enables selection only for entire cells, addressed by a row and a col.
It is impossible to select a part of text contained in an active cell, as it can be done at "Entry" widget, or
in "Text" widget.
When a cell activates, PRIMARY selection at Linux will contain an entire cell value, and it's impossible to change selection range inside an active cell moving a cursor!
It's very important when people have got already use a selection inside an active cell, for example using MS Access or MS Excel based on table-widgets.
It is an analog to create an entry widget inside a cell being activated, but is for an additional care.
This is the same for both Windows and Linux platforms аt TCL versions - 8.4, 8.5
May be exists any mechanism that allows to do this at TkTable?
