Hi all!

Here I'll try and deliver some conversations about TKE, some things from my experience.

A little initial blah-blah is necessary, as usual.

Behind that I and that silly bird is Alex Plotnikov hidden:) Well, I live in Russia. Trevor Williams, the TKE author, lives in United States. And what? Does it mean we should bark at each other as those political dogs? No. Nothing alike. We are here to make some common work and it's called TKE editor. No more, no less.

TKE has being written in Tcl/Tk. If these facts embarrass you, try and don't hasten to quit these pages and TKE as well. Perhaps, just the very things would become the most attractive matter for you.

Why My TKE? There is a book by Korney Chukovsky titled 'My Whitman' (Moy Uhitmen, in Russian) which contains very good biographical and critical matters, selected translations of Whitman's poetry, personal notes etc. I've chosen the title for my TKE pages after his, Korney's, fashion as I also hope these pages would reflect my views on the TKE (and related themes, e.g. Tcl/Tk).

In case you are somehow doubtful about TKE and its future, let me scatter those doubts, by citing Walt Whitman:

Our frigate was afire... the other asked if we demanded
   quarters? if our colors were struck and the fighting done?
I laughed content when I heard the voice of my little
   captain,
We have not struck, he composedly cried, We have just
   begun our part of the fighting.

And TKE is just beginning its part as well. Much signs of this.
