Hi!

Just tried out version 0.1 (SinglePlayer) and have a
question:

Is there any way to increase/decrease the game
speed? This is because the game runs quite fast on my
machine. This does not mean that the game is
"unplayable" - it's just a kind of arcade style ;)

I don't know how the game speed is implemented -
perhaps my machine is just too fast (2,67 GHz)? I
remember this behavior from some older games - they
run x times as fast as the ran on my older system...

Anyway: Would be nice to have an adjustable game
speed in future versions :)

Regards,
Christian

    Hi!!!

Nice to see a feature request!! Right now, I am going to
    review the game's
hardware dependences. I ' ll find where it is too fast
and try to make it act
equal in whatever machine it runs.

Do you believe that it runs really slow in Windows? Did u
    played in Linux
    or Windows?

    Cya and thx!

    Hello!

I run the game under Linux; here is some Information about
    my box:

    - - - - -
    Hardware:
    PIV 2,67 GHz
    1024 MB RAM
    NVidia MX 440

    Software:
    java version "1.4.1"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build
    Blackdown-1.4.1-01)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build Blackdown-1.4.1-01,
    mixed mode)

    nvidia-kernel-1.0.4496-r3
    nvidia-glx-1.0.4496

    Game started under KDE 3.1.5

    - - - - - -

Like said before, the game isn't unplayble or even "too fast".
    I have a 19" Monitor with 1280x1024 and when I start the
game, it takes me about 2,5 Seconds from the middle to the
edge of the screen (I know this isn't a very accurate
benchmark - is there any way to show the FPS or
something). The scrolling is very smooth, though. So it isn't
the kind of "fast" which I encounter, when I play a 10 year
old DOS game under Windows today ;)
