I wonder if an option to show coins instead of letters could be added? I prefer the old version of the plugin in that aspect. It could be done using

From AnrDaemon: The current state of it I can only describe as "offensive to the eyes". Please, consider at least disabling coloration.
From Mikari: Would it be possible for an option to remove the colouring from the gold text? So the amount would be in white, but the type e.g gold, silver, copper could retain the colouring.
From me: TitanGold doesn't have a Show Colored Text option like the other left-side built-in do. I'm sure this is a leftover from when TitanGoldTracker was a separate plugin written by a non-affiliated author. Adding that option may satisfy most of the coloring complaints.

I agree with henrik.freiholtz; the coins were more visually appealing than the colored text. In addition, I was disappointed to find that the colorizing is now disabled by default on all profiles. I think having the option for those who cared about colorization is good, but I would think the majority would prefer the coloring/coins than not. Lastly, marking the enhancement as resolved without comments, when the coins were not implemented (which is how this issue was opened to begin with) is discouraging. Does that mean you're not going to do it? While comments on other aspects of TitanGold may have requested the white text, this one requested bringing back the coins.
