The Transparent Inter Process Communication (TIPC) protocol enables quick and reliable communication between applications in a clustered computer environment, and is an emerging standard for messaging on multi-core and multi-processor systems. TIPC 1.7.6-rc2 for Linux Released

The Transparent Inter Process Communication (TIPC) project team is pleased to announce the release of TIPC version 1.7.6-rc2 for Linux. This is a stable release, and is being issued as a "candidate" to provide TIPC users with early access to broadcast link fixes that have been recently reported.

We are pleased to announce the release an updated version of the Portable TIPC Test Suite for TIPC 1.7. The test suite provides basic sanity testing for TIPC, which can be used to verify that TIPC has been installed and configured correctly and to regression test TIPC patches for enhancements and bug fixes.
