Yes. All bus have their function pointer to write, read and ioctl. The driver will try to write and the device will know which bus use. We should start putting theses discussions on the list so other eventual users will be able to follow our plans, in any case we decided to have those bus type defines in order to encapsulate the bus implementation to the driver.
