Multilingual writes that TinyTM supports TMX, but I couldn't find it.
I have seen that it is easy to extract strings using SQL, but I wonder
if there is already an interface.

I am currently working on Java commandline based TMX2 importer to TinyTM. This program supports formatting tags in segments. Now it allows only tmx import with formatting tags being stored as TMX fragments in database field and {1}...{n} style placeholders in segment text. The search funtion is not changed to incorporate these changes yet. Next in plan are export to TMX and search with weight on placement of formating tags without considering the semantics of formatting. The protocol has to be changed according to these changes to allow clients that are capable of working with formatting tags to insert them into resulting segment.
Currently it is a working prototype but the code needs to be cleaned properly before publishing. Also it needs to be made more robust and customisable.

As mentioned before - I think there is no issue to publish your code as "alpha" or "prototype". I'd be really interested to see where you are right now.
Cheers!

Hi Rubio,
TMX import is already part of the ]project-open[ TinyTM package.
You can check functionality if you got to http://www.tinytm.org/, login as "bbigboss@tigerpond.com" / "ben" and then go to http://www.tinytm.org/intranet-tinytm/.
TMX export will follow soon in the same page, I hope it will be contained in TinyTM V0.2.
Bests
