v2.80.02.462 -- Generate Symbol References using the reference painter, selecting to start at a particular number.
If the number is less than the last reference generated for the same type (S1, S2, etc), it continues with the next number in the series after the last number generated, not the selected number.
Example: I generate references for S1, S2, ... S10. Then I realize I missed one, so I want to renumber S6 .. S10. Special, Generate Symbol References..., options selected are Add References, Unnumbered references, All Sheets, (I don't think any of the previous are relevant if using the reference painter?) Start at Value 7, click on "use reference painter". Clicking on S6 starts numbering at S11, etc. If I try again, same options, it continues, S15, etc.
Selecting a completely different set of references, such as K11, it starts numbering K12 and continues, instead of starting at 7. "12" is not the next number in the "S" references, just the next number in the "K" references. Selecting a symbol that does not have any references generated it does start at the chosen value.
Restarting TinyCAD does not change this behavior - it continues numbering from the highest reference number assigned in that series rather than restarting at the chosen starting number.
I renumbered several items, and verified this - it continues from the highest assigned reference in the series, and ignores the chosen starting reference.

Whether this is a bug or just expected program behavior - having the ability to renumber references contiguously (from any starting point), without having to first "remove" upper references, would be beneficial to the design process.
Current program behavior, does not allow the user to set a "starting point" lower than the highest existing reference for the same RefDes, unless the the higher numbers are removed, prior to using the Reference Painter.
