This is a very useful file with one confusing statement,
probably a typo:

 NOTE: line-wor,col-wor and color-wor must be s9(.) comp fields.

Now does this mean s9(5) or what?

I think the '.' means any number 1-18.

But 's9(5)' is adequate for most cases.
