The compiler by now only work on intel platforms, because we create 
asembler code from COBOL sources.

 Theorically with some work it could work on solaris for intel. But it 
is impossible for solaris on SPARC.

Try to use opencobol. It transforms COBOL to C and it can be ported to 
solaris.
