I still need some input on what format the documentation should be in.  Can we do a survey on this forum to select between:
    1) man pages
    2) Microsoft Word
    3) HTMM
    4) Other Ideas?

The Texinfo system is probably the most appropriate. It seems to be able to generate pretty good and flexible docs, and is used heavily by several GNU projects.

I haven't heard much about Texinfo (I don't think I have anyway). Is this the LaTex program, or where do I go to find out about it?

I think that HTML would be a good choice because of a wide variety of tools to author and display it. It also has the ability to provide navigation of the document (links).

My two cents worth ... Jim

I personally like man pages, but HTML would be the most portable and easiest to access.
Please no MS Word format pages.  We should keep the format
      as portable as possible.
