#7 Can't save syntax color scheme in editor

The Tinn editing window may be taylored to produce a customized syntax highlighting scheme, however once I exit Tinn-R and later reinvoke it, the editing window is reset (to std white) and the modified color scheme is not saved. I have seen this issue with another user, but they simply reverted from version 1.19.2.3 to something previous. I can find no docs on this issue. Is there a specific method to resolve this?
