    Good morning,

I've just install Tinn-R last version. After reading some posts I've fixed :

    R>costumize>Rconfigure.r
    and
    R>configure>permanent>....

now send selection works well, but is it normal that the in Rgui window does
not apper the selected (and exected) codes? The command works but only
    "source(.trPaths)" is printed.

I've also tried to set shortcuts.
    I've a question about them:
when I use the "send line" button the active window remains Tinn-R and the
code is excute in Rgui, whereas when I use "send line" shortcut the active
window becomes Rgui. Is it possible to set the shortcut in such way Tinn-R
    remains the active window?

    Thank you for your help

    Sabrina

    Hello Sabrina,

    • Is it normal that the in Rgui window does not apper the selected (and exected) codes?
      Yes, it is!
To see the instructions and the realated results, use the options to send with
'echo': the second button of each group in the R toolbar!

    • When I use the "send line" button the active window remains Tinn-R and the code is excute in Rgui, whereas when I use "send line" shortcut the active window becomes Rgui. Is it possible to set the shortcut in such way Tinn-R remains the active window?
Could you tell me the shortcut you are using?

    Sugestions:
    1. Use hotkeys, main menu: R/Hotkeys (operational system), instead of shortcuts (consult the User guide for details: main menu Help/Main/User guide/HTML). It has advantages.
    2. Try to use Rterm interface instead of Rgui. It has a lot of advantages.

    HTH,
    JCFaria

    Hello JCFaria,
    Thank you for you help.
Using R term the problem of active windows is solved. I wasn't using it only
for silly reasons, i.e. laziness, Rgui menu bar...
Anyway I was using a personalized short-cut CTRL+1 to send line that was
changing the active window when used.
Now with Rterm is easier to send lines one after the other.

As you suggested I'll try to use hotkeys instead of shortcuts, even if the
possible list of shortcuts is longer and admits more choices in order to
    personalize.

    Thank you for your help!

    Sabrina
