first of all, thank you so much for this awesome project. We have been using it for years with friends, and tincan jukebox is really amazing.
After so many years, here are what I think some desirable features:
* It seems it's not possible to add tracks to the current playlist, so that the player would continue with these new tracks once it's over with the ones it had initially. Would it be feasible ?
Then, it turns out that that the "social feature" of seing what the other guys are listening to is really cool. I am proposing a few features that I think would improve a lot the jukebox in that direction: It would be cool to be able to "follow" someone, i.e. to play whatever some other user is playing, live I would love it if there was a chat in the main page, or player, this would make tincan a real "home" for groups of friends that can talk and listen to music together when not working at the same place =)
in any case, congrats again and thanks so much, it's really great to have such a project

Hello,
I'm glad you are enjoying the software. I honestly haven't been adding
features to it for some time as I've been busy with other projects. I like
your suggestions and will add them to the feature request list. I don't
think they would be easy to do in the current implementation (flash or
local player loads a playlist into memory and then plays it), but I've been
wanting to get rid of problematic flash and reprogram in html5 for awhile.
I'm fairly certain that it would be possible to add dynamic playlists as
well as follow remote user's list.. that would be pretty cool. As would a
chat box. I'll let you know when programmed.
If you're a programmer feel free to jump into the code and hack away in the
mean time.
