Hello,

timer-applet 2.1.2 has bug with russian characters (in presets Names). When Preset Name has russian characters, it saves in right encoding, but when i close timer-applet window and then open it again - it looks like on attached screenshot. (Ubuntu 8.10)

Happens for me too with Python 2.6.2 and "ru_RU.UTF-8" locale.
