How can WTE be setup on same Windows Tomcat with Java 6 and allready using Web Regester. If I open EI7 and go to url HTTP://localhost:8080/  I open Web Register and it works HOWEVER WTE uses the SAME URL, how do I setup Tomcat to run both?  How to setup Tomcat and how to open the URL's for each, please help… Thanks.

If I install WTE will it OVERWRITE the setting for Web Register?  How do I install WTE?

A few ways to get to what you need.

1 - Have WTE and Web Register run in the same Tomcat instance.

You would beed to copy the ../webapps/ROOT folder from say.. WTE and paste it into Web Register's ../webpapps/ folder (of course you would need to rename one of them and edit WEB.XML and ConfigFile1.XML in both).

2 - Change the port that Tomcat runs on.

If you don't care about having more than one instance of Tomcat running, you could change the port Tomcat runs on to say 8081 for WTE and leave Web Register on 8080.

I am new to this site, i do not know how to start a new query, hence posting my question here.
I am using Web time entry as a course project for my graduate program.

I would like to know how i can give access to users, manager-who approves time sheets and just a regular employee?
In the user guide document it says, Access is granted to users by user group. I do not see the edit user group screen when i login as admin.

if there are existing users, with manager access, please give me their user id and password.

When i Login as 1002 or 1003 users who are regular users other than admin, they can still create new project, new client, is that an expected functionality?

    Thanks
