I agree with your sentiments however I've already done it, it was raining yesterday. The only issue is that the anonymous CVS is still not synchronised so we'll have to wait before we can grab it from there. That said all I have done is to create a main window with the ability to connect to the database via a menu item and then from another menu item display the control panel. There will certainly be extra things required for this window, this would be a good point to add a menu item to modify the preferences, I've not added a dialog to get the password to the database (basically because whilst this is still in development I don't want to have to go through a dialog before finding that something hasn't worked) That all said once it is there on the anonymous CVS I invite you all to add your thoughts on how it should evolve, after all I put the main window ther= e just so you can get it running even if you don't have the database set up. cheers, graeme.
