I've installed v 1.8 and have been running it for several
weeks without any problems. Today I created new
modules and after assigning a module to pos 1 on left I
got a Smarty error that prevents any user from
accessing the site - any idea how to resolve it?

Fatal error: Smarty: [in evaluated template line 2]:
syntax error: missing attribute value
(Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 1476)
in /data/1/apache/tiki.epiuse.com/lib/smarty/Smarty_C
ompiler.class.php on line 2062

My site is completely down and no users can get access
to it - only the above error is displayed. How can I get
control of my system again?

I'm a complete newbie to PHP, MySQL and TikiWiki so
there might be something easy to do to fix this - your
help will be much appreciated!

Hi, your custom module will be stored in table tiki_modules,
just delete the problematic one from there and your site
should be up. ALTERNTIy remove fhe faulty Smarty syntax.
