I've checked the list and can't find anything specifically dealing with
I'm using the Mira release and I'm trying to enter perl code on a wiki
page. Any line that starts with a less than sign (<) is a pain in the
butt, to put it mildly.
Using the < entity for the "less than" character works fine with html
off or on, but the problem is, as you preview or edit, the edit window
changes them all back to the "<" character. If you have a lot of perl
code, this can easily add 15 or 20 minutes to edit just a single line,
as you have to go through the entire page to change every one that
starts a line.
I've tried the <pre></pre> tags, but no help.
For example, if you add the following lines, indented one space,
<form title="FORM_TITLE" header="/etc/e-smith/web/common/head.tmpl"
the second line is not printed on the page, since the <form data ...
line is not valid html.
change it to < and it shows up fine, but the edit window changes it
back to "<", which means that you have to change EVERY line where this
construct shows up. With perl code, this can become quite tim consuming
and prone to mistakes
