That page is still in proposal mode, but what is sure is that Tiki4
will not be LTS. Maybe 5, 6 or 7, still needs to discussed and agreed
upon. 6 seems likely though, because 5 will be released quite soon.
About what goes in LTS: The strict definition would just be security issues.
The Quality Team will have to judge on a case by case basis. Again the
problem of defnining what is a "bug".
I think the Quality Team will be looking for commits:
1- easy to backport
2- that fix something
3- that have been proven in Tiki4/trunk
4- and that have no chance of causing issues or changing behavior
Down the road: The good news is that Tiki5 will coincide with the
merge back of SUpport.MOzilla.com SUMO doesn't yet use trackers.
However, their QA standards are very high. And their performance needs
as well. Thus 5.1 will be very solid for all features used by SUMO.
Now, hopefully, we'll get SUMO to use trackers for something :-)
