On Q2, see this post I made: http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=1963 It is definitely a combination of SEFURL and .htaccess. You should update .htaccess with the latest _htaccess - - - - - - Message: 5 Date: Thu, 21 Aug 2008 15:48:54 -0400 From: "Rick Sapir" <ric...@ch...> Subject: Re: [Tikiwiki-devel] (INQUIRY): Tikiwiki 2.0 Bug or ConfigurationSettings Issue To: "Tikiwiki developers" <tik...@li...>, <cus...@su...> Message-ID: <ABE3389E922F4D399868B24FED9D1921@RickPC> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" (INQUIRY): Tikiwiki 2.0 Bug or Configuration Settings Issue#1. 16M is minimum... the more memory the better. #2. Are you by chance using SERFURL option? Verify that your .htaccess is correct. Try turning off SERFURL option. #3. Make sure that you are clicking CHANGE PREFERENCES and not CHANGE PASSWORD. Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2008 3:44 PM Subject: [Tikiwiki-devel] (INQUIRY): Tikiwiki 2.0 Bug or ConfigurationSettings Issue Hi Again. I just can't get this 2.0 installation to behave correctly. ============================= ============================= Q-1: I am running with the 'php_memory_limit' set to 16M. Does it need to be set 32M now for 2.0? Q-2: Every time 'tiki-editpage.php' executes, it returns the following 'Page' when I try to 'Save', 'Save Draft', "Minor Edit', or 'Cancel Edit' ==> Not Found The requested URL /tikiwiki_2-0/xxxxxxxxx&saved_msg=y was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) PHP/5.2.0-8+etch11 mod_scgi/1.11 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8c mod_apreq2-20051231/2.6.0 mod_perl/2.0.2 Perl/v5.8.8 Server at www.yyyyyy Port 80 However, the MYSQL database log shows that a write occurred, and the changes show-up in the next access of the wiki page. This also happens when I edit my user modules and menus. So, is there a configuration setting somewhere in the Admin Preferences that I somehow missed on this install that controls the ability to save and see changes to wiki pages? Or is this a 'Bug'? Q-3: In the Admin Preferences, I am unable to create or change users or user groups, or change my Home page to 'Custom Home Page'. I can fill in the information, and/or select the options, but when I hit the 'Save' button, the screen refreshes and the additions and/or changes have not been saved. Again, is there a configuration setting somewhere in the Admin Preferences that I somehow missed on this install that controls the ability to save and see changes to Admin Preferences? Or is this a 'Bug'? ============================= ============================= This has been seriously annoying and time-consuming. And has significantly dampened my enthusiasm for Tikiwiki. Some of my professional CMS admin colleagues (who unlike me are experienced at this stuff) are pushing me to restart my project and implement it on the Drupal CMS. I am hoping I get a quick resolution, because I can't spend much more time just trying to get the thing to run correctly. Thanks folks. Sorry for bothering you . . . Mark R.
