i believe that is not possible. actually this year should indicate when the
last change was made, to determine the date when the copyright expires and the
work is transfered to the public domain. with your proposal that would be much
harder to pinpoint.

indicate your name as well, so it is clear who the copyright holder is. but as
i understand it is not clear whether there is a community copyright holder or
if every developer owns the chunk he made. for which we have the svn logs, but
these are a pita to backtrack.
