as already mentioned earlier, it is not possible to link for example to
which has been sitting on the left side of doc.tw.o since some time and going
The current RewriteRules do not allow for periods (".") in wikipagenames. This
can be "fixed" theoretically, but no-one knows what will break. Two
RewriteRules are relevant for this:
ihtml) - [L]
RewriteRule ^([^/\.]+)$ tiki-index.php?page=$1
The first one matches a period followed by css/gif/jpg and so on - and if it
finds that, then it prohibits execution of the following RewriteRules.
The second one then is the one that rewrites anything following the slash
after the domainname to be a wikipage.
Everything fine, right? Well, not exactly - at least not for people who like
to throw some documents into the documentroot for usage/delivery, as
Some quick'n'dirty find/grep statement showed me stuff like .ico or .svg that
isn't included in the first RewriteRule mentioned above. And there are
potentially hundreds more.
Does anyone have a smart idea here to allow for such things?
People seem to really want it.
