Hi! Today, as I was showing TikiWiki.org to a customer, I got blank pages and I could't log in. (yikes!) I had this problem before in other Tiki version (not sure if 1.7.x or 1.8.x). Weird because it happens on some computers but not others which have AFAICT the same version of IE. Since it is a randomn problem and you can't be sure your visitors are not affected, I recommend not activating the gzipped output. Accordingly, I deactivated gzipped output from tikiwiki.org Does anyone have a clue to what could be causing this? Best regards, -- M ;-) ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// / / / Marc Laporte <|> http://marclaporte.com / / Avantech.net <|> http://avantech.net / / Tiki CMS/Groupware <|> http://tikiwiki.org/UserPagemarclaporte / / / ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// |

Well, I had the same problem and found out after disabling gzipped = output that there was _sometimes_ an error message as first line of output. = Can't remember what message, though, but it was coming about every 5 page = views, and it was easy to fix (don't remember in which file neither :-( )... Anyway, 1.8.1 seems to have fixed this...=20 Sorry that this isn't very clear, but it was a couple of months ago. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yannick Majoros http://www.auto.ucl.ac.be/~majoros Informaticien AUTO-INMA/FSA/UCL CSAM 4, avenue G. If gzip is enabled in Tiki and its also enabled in php.ini you will get=20 errors. If you turn it off in tiki and on in php.ini everything is happy. = =20 Thats how my servers are setup ;) Sorry for top replying too ;) Damian http://damian.parkersworld.org On Sat, 8 May 2004, Yannick Majoros wrote: > Well, I had the same problem and found out after disabling gzipped outpu= t > that there was _sometimes_ an error message as first line of output.
