Dennis, You uploaded the SWF file, played it and when getting back the browser must have asked you if you want to "post" again info since you were coming from a post submission. If you say "yes" the browser will repost the data and the file will be duplicated. The same can be done by uploading the file and then clicking "refresh" the browser will ask if you want to repost and if you say yes the file will be reposted. If a user clicks the file nothing happens. I'm afraid this can't be prevented since there's no way to know if you are really wanting to upload the file again or a new file or if you are just reposting accidentally. Subject: [Tikiwiki-devel] potentially serious dup file upload error bug entry http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=717698&group_id =64258&atid=506846 I uploaded an swf file. I played the swf and went back in the browser and noticed that there were now TWO swf files. played the swf again and there was a third. Repeated same behaviors with html. you can see it here http://alt.thetinfoilhat.com/tiki-index.php?page=TikiViewlets at first I thought it was I was opening the file in a new browser 1.5 but the new file is being created regardless of session repeatable! unknown whether or not it is creating dups. in the database meaning large files swallowing storage space... potentially critical bug ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: ValueWeb: Dedicated Hosting for just $79/mo with 500 GB of bandwidth!
