Gour, > I have seen it and there is one puzzle I'm not > sure about: "Tiki is more focused on > collaboration whilst Typo3 is more focused on > web publishing." > I believe that I do need more of a publishing > than collaboration, but not sure whether this > disqualifies Tiki in comparison? Well, the only way to find out is to install and use Tiki. Since you have tried most other CMSs, why discriminate against Tiki? :) Tiki is certainly strong on collaboration and would be ideal for any community driven web site. You need a CMS which has features such as comments, support for Disqus, pingback/trackback, storefront, shopping cart and, later, calendar / events. That is quite a long list of community driven collaborative features which would push even Tiki to its limits, in my opinion. However, your requirement for blogs, google maps, public and private file galleries / download area can easily be handled by Tiki. It supports piwik and basic document management as well. If you do install Tiki, you will find that the following are the low hanging fruits: Blogs Calandars Document Management File Upload / Download Google Maps Piwik Regards, Niel Hirjee -- Calport Technologies - Professional Internet Services 3 Dover Road, Kolkata 700019, INDIA +91 (33) 2475-5884 www.calport.com |
