Hello Marc, we are about to hire Jörn Ott again to improve the Facebook/Twitter Social Network Connectivity of Tikiwiki. Our thoughts cover mainly the scenario where an author (using Tikiwiki) wants to promote his wiki pages /articles through those networks (rather then mash up already existing content by consuming some Social Network Streams). On this behalf we improved the shoutbox module to be able to "shout to twitter too" (first little thing Jörn did for us) Now want to invent something like a "promote" functionality which covers the Social Networks enabled by an author. In addition we want to be able (similar to quick_edit_wiki_page) to quickly add a wiki page with a short body and the option to categorize the object. More "Web2.0 like ;-). By discussing this with Jörn I came up with the question if it would make sense to merge Articles with Wiki pages. Eg. for Wiki pages it would be great to have wiki pages related to expos to show up automatically 2 weeks before and disappear automatically too and to have a summary/heading (which we could use to "promote" the page) or for Articles it could be the case that N author wants to write an Article/Review (intended to be static) but needs version control and staging. Just a thought. greetings from Hanau Germany Carsten Aevermann On Fr, 2010-07-02 at 01:59 -0400, Marc Laporte wrote: > and: > > http://twitter.com/tikiwiki > http://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&gid=118987&trk=anet_ug_hm > > and others: > http://tikiwiki.org/Networks > > > On Wed, Jun 30, 2010 at 11:08 AM, Rick Sapir <ric...@ke...> wrote: > > > > ... and there's also the Tiki fan page: > > http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tiki/283341222247 > > > > -R > > > > --- > > Greetings from Sanford, NC, USA! > > > >>> ----- Original Message ----- > >>> From: "Marc Laporte" <ma...@ma...> > >>> To: "Tikiwiki developers" <tik...@li...>; "Tiki > >>> users mailing list" <tik...@li...> > >>> Sent: Tuesday, June 29, 2010 11:48 PM > >>> Subject: [Tikiwiki-devel] Facebook group hits 600 members: join us (and > >>> atOhloh.net too!) > >>> > >>> > >>>> Here is: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=6607687318 > >>>> > >>> > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint > > What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone? > > Visit sprint.com/first -- http://p.sf.net/sfu/sprint-com-first > > _______________________________________________ > > Tikiwiki-users mailing list > > Tik...@li... > > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tikiwiki-users > > > > > -- ((aevermann.com)) Carsten Aevermann Engelhardstr. 38C 63450 Hanau Mobil: +49 176 49860314 FNetz: +49 6181 9657469 |
