Another yslow-like tool is pagetest, which has a lovely online testing facility which will run tests for you from remote locations (like a one-off site confidence/keynote report but free). It allows you to compare an initial run with a second one so you can see the affect of cache headers and 304 not-modified responses. It uses Internet Explorer underneath. http://www.webpagetest.org/result/100325_690X/ Looks like there's a huge blocking request for a twitter feed (tikiwiki.json) before the page can be shown, coupled with some long wait times for what look like static files ( wait.gif, shadow.png ) which ring alarm bells.
