Sorry to drag this thread back up, but based on the above I'm guessing it's recommended to run a php accelerator when using trackers? We currently do not. In fact, had no idea there was such a thing until this thread came up... Is there anyone running in a corporate environment, or who went through the performance troubleshooting, that can recommend an accelerator or provide benchmarks of plain php vs. accelerated php? Eager to get this performance issue taken care of so I can focus on upgrading. Would love to talk shop if you've beaten this problem, to compare settings. Thanks!
