Yes, you are right! But it wasn't my intention to limit the access to tikiwiki, only imho, SVN don't give the powerful than git does. But despite the fact, I didn't have in consideration the community itself, and yes, moving a delicate piece of software (maybe with 300 active developers) could be very difficult, and more if we considering for example your case. Only I want to show you that there are more possibilities that can be useful for us (I mean, for the Tikiwiki philosophy itself). In the case of Git, people like Linux Kernel developers are using it, and Perl, and gnome, and android ... (of course their needs are very different that we have here, and for those can be very nice).
