Hi Tony! Tiki is hugely powerful. But if you turn on less features, it can be fairly simple. About table data, with wiki syntax, it would be: ||From | To | Date | Book/Page | Notes John | Sam | 1910-07-01 | Book13, page 6 | a random note Sam | Elda | 1940-08-22 | Book74, page 12 | another random note || For the GUI, you can try WYSIWYG editor, but know that it's "experimental" About "pre-formatted pages. http://doc.tikiwiki.org/Content+Template Back to table data, I suggest you give this profile a test: http://profiles.tikiwiki.org/Bug_Tracker This permits you to manage tabular data: http://doc.tikiwiki.org/Tracker You could use this as inspiration and change the field names to suit your purpose. Thus, you can have part of the page as free wiki, and have a section with tabular data. Here is an example: http://dev.tikiwiki.org/Task Best regards, M ;-) On Thu, Jun 11, 2009 at 12:37 PM, Tony Willoughby<to...@po...> wrote: > > I'm considering using Tiki with a group of amateur deed researchers > (researching the history of local properties).
