I have noticed line terminator problems at work (unrelated to TikiWiki), and they all arise from Windows users using jCVS to do their CVS work. And, to be fair to jCVS, it is actually from users accessing a Linux box from their Windows desktops, but running jCVS from Windows and checking stuff out to a shared (between Windows & Linux) disk, and then editing the files on Linux. I know, it is a tangled mess ;-) CVS handles line terminators correctly... if the file being checked in is consistent with (i.e. has the proper line terminators for) the operating system from which it is being checked in (and is the same operating system into which the file was originally checked out). As of yesterday afternoon, all files in the tiki module had proper line terminators. As I catch new or updated files with improper line terminators, I will be contacting the developer who checked those files in... JUST FOR INFORMATION. This is NOT the Spanish Inquisition. I would just like to know what method you use to access CVS, so I can try to track down how the standard CVS behavour is being thwarted.
