Here's an awesome idea: instead of just being able
to specify that a tracker item is a URL, why not just
completely add text formatting to tracker items? If not
for the "text field" type, at least for the "textarea"
type. that way, people could use all the formatting
options they use for articles and message boards for
tracker items, like __text__ [http://example.com|desc]
===text=== and ''text'' .
Enabling text formatting would also enable people to
modify the tracker templates to automatically format
certain fields certain ways (like with particular colors, as
links, bold, etc.) .

Actually, my original post can be ignored. tracker fields can
include ANY html and I have created custom scripts that add
html (like href's) to tracker fields for me.
