Hi,

short example for wiki code-plugin failure:

{CODE()}
[user@pc]# hwls -XML >report.xml
>
< >> <>
{CODE}

shows this

[user@pc]# hwls -XML >report.xml
>
< >> <>

I'm using Tiki v1.7.1.1 on Woody

    It seems that the problem is not in CODE plugin but after
    the plugin has returned the control to wiki rendering
    engine. CODE plugin is quite simple and doesn't include any
    functionality for converting html special characters such as
    <, > and others.

    Additionally, when Allow HTML box is checked, the spetial
    html characters are correctly displayed.

    So, is this actually a bug?

    From duplicate bug tracker 809590 by cinsk :

    Seems like that htmlspecialchars() called twice per input.

    When I remove the htmlspecialchars() call from the
    tikiplugin_code() in wikiplugin_code.php, it works as I
    expected.

    So the line (wikiplugin_code.php)

    $code=htmlspecialchars($data);

    should be

    $code=$data;

    I'm not php programmer, so I don't know why, but does
    the caller of tikiplugin_code() calls htmlspecialchars()
    again?
